Posts on social media had been spreading so fast, they say they had no other option…

This is disgusting.

Attempts to engineer conflict and entrap Australians:

• are not journalism

• undermine trust in media that is already extremely low

• do nothing to confront any real examples of bigotry that may exist and,

• destroys any legitimacy of associated coverage by that organisation.

It makes all communities less safe and promotes suspicion about the motives of others when we need to build community trust.

Well done to all community leaders who have condemned it.
