It’s not fair that people paying for holidays should have to put up with British Airways crew behaving this way @ThomasCookUK @KuoniTravelUK @britishairwaysholidays https://t.co/UsE4R6lwv3
@ByLucyJones @British_Airways I had my flight cancelled last minute & I’ve just read ground staff are balloting for strike action this Summer too - BA are a mess at the moment
@flybyday63 Awww how lovely ! I understand the ground staff are balloting for strike action this Summer - it’s all such a mess at BA at the moment ! …so many flight cancellations & now more industrial action
@flybyday63 Thanks for your reply. @britishairways seems to be a complete mess at the moment inc IT, flight cancellations & lack of ground staff/baggage handlers, yet they expect to charge premium rates for tickets with poor customer support
@robbeckettcomic@British_Airways So true. They’ve just can’t my flight this month with less than 14 days notice. Legally I believe I’m entitled to compensation but I’ve completely lost confidence in them as an airline.
@SimonCalder Thanks for this post @SimonCalder BA just cancelled my flight today with less than 14 days notice & tried to book me on a flight one day earlier when I’m due to work and arriving in NCE after midnight at an unsuitable & inconvenient time. I’m
entitled to compensation ??
This is a public service announcement. Avoid @British_Airways until they have sorted out their IT and staff problems. Absolute shambles. They are all over the place. Especially if you’re travelling with kids. Fingers crossed we have a flight home. They aren’t sure. 😂😂😂
@British_Airways is a disgrace. 6 weeks ago they cancelled my return flight from abroad, there was no staff available, they offered no alternative, no food, no accommodation. Left us with no support in a foreign country. 6 weeks later still no refund.

@DavidPrior79 @bryzo2802 @TheMattEvers@British_Airways@VirginAtlantic You are right there is chaos behind the scenes at BA - Willie Walsh & Cruz delivered the cost cutting they wanted but at the customers expense not leaving enough experienced staff to deal with current demand & offering poor salary & terms & conditions to new entrants & remainers
@MrNickKnowles@British_Airways BA let a lot of their experienced staff go at the beginning of lockdown something they’d wanted to do for a long time to reduce costs. Now because the new salary & terms & conditions being offered are so poor they are having problems recruiting & many current staff are unhappy.
@clayrebash @British_Airways They cut so many staff or are underpaying them & the systems can’t take the strain either .. it’s not good enough but Willie Walsh etc only cared about their own pockets & the shareholders !
@betting_kent @DarrenW50908997 @turningleftfor@HeathrowAirport@British_Airways Ummm it’s probably to do with the fact that they cut so many costs the staff are all fed up & the systems can’t cope -
@turningleftfor@HeathrowAirport@British_Airways They made so many staff redundant in such an underhand manner & are now paying for it .. we’ll the passengers are as they are so understaffed !
