अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर रोहिणी जिला पुलिस द्वारा स्वर्ण जयंती पार्क, रोहिणी में एक भव्य योग कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।

श्री विजय कुमार, भा.पु.से., संयुक्त आयुक्त पुलिस, उत्तरी परिक्षेत्र ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में कार्यक्रम की शोभा बढ़ाई। इस अवसर पर श्री शशांक जायसवाल, भा.पु.से., उपायुक्त पुलिस, रोहिणी जिला ने उपस्थित जनसमूह को योग के महत्व तथा स्वस्थ एवं संतुलित जीवन में इसकी उपयोगिता से अवगत कराया।

कार्यक्रम में 500 से अधिक पुलिसकर्मियों, वरिष्ठ नागरिकों एवं स्थानीय नागरिकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और सामूहिक योगाभ्यास किया।

कार्यक्रम के समापन पर श्री सतीश कुमार, भा.पु.से., अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त पुलिस, रोहिणी जिला द्वारा ‘नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान’ के अंतर्गत उपस्थित सभी प्रतिभागियों को नशा मुक्ति की शपथ दिलाई गई।

Delhi: On “Operation Shastra” conducted by Rohini District Police targeting organized crime, street crime, and illegal arms possession, Additional DCP Satish Kumar says, "Rohini District Police conducted Operation Shastra over the past two days. The main objective was to curb organized crime, street crime, and illegal possession and use of weapons. Under this drive, we registered 20 cases and arrested 20 criminals. Among those arrested, 13 individuals have 88 criminal cases registered against them. We recovered one pistol, 10 country-made pistols, 12 cartridges, and 9 knives. One of the arrested accused is an associate of the Gogi gang and was also involved in a POCSO case. He has been arrested and charged under the Arms Act."

रोहिणी ज़िले के डीसीपी श्री शशांक जायसवाल एवं अतिरिक्त डीसीपी-प्रथम श्री सतीश कुमार के नेतृत्व में अन्य पुलिस अधिकारियों एवं स्टाफ के साथ ज़िले के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में पैदल गश्त की गई। गश्त के दौरान पुलिस टीमों ने क्षेत्र में सतर्क निगरानी रखते हुए लोगों से संवाद स्थापित किया और संदिग्ध गतिविधियों पर विशेष नजर रखी।

My fellow residents of Delhi and visitors to the city - I request you to cooperate with @dtptraffic in making our capital a city of safe, smooth and disciplined traffic.

Adherence to traffic rules is an essential civic responsibility for the well-being of our beloved Delhi. It is also the key to reducing traffic congestion, preventing mishaps, and lowering air pollution caused by idling vehicles at signals and in gridlocks.

I urge everyone to strictly avoid wrong-side driving, signal jumping, and dangerous jaywalking. Simple actions such as responsible parking and wearing helmets and seatbelts reflect our concern for fellow citizens as well as our own families. I have directed traffic police to expand its enforcement drive across Delhi. You can also empower this movement by using the 'Traffic Prahari' app to report these violations and earn rewards for your contribution to road safety.

A decongested and safer Delhi is within our reach, provided we begin with a commitment to these basic practices. I look forward to your support in building a better capital for all.

On 12th Sep. 2025, the Honourable Court has pronounced verdict in the Daryaganj road rage murder case, sentencing four accused to life imprisonment.

We pay tribute to the relentless efforts of late ACP Sh. Amritraj, whose meticulous investigation was instrumental in ensuring justice for the bereaved family. His unwavering dedication, professionalism, and integrity continue to inspire the Delhi Police fraternity. Unfortunately, ACP Sh. Amritraj left for heavenly abode on 10th Sep. 2025 due to cardiac arrest.

This verdict underscores our commitment to upholding law and order and delivering justice to victims and their families.
