@WhalePanda Not wild. Bitcoin doesnβt close on weekends. Bitcoin is the most liquid asset, therefore it can be used to capture swings when the market it closed.
Market turns back on this morning and the big players can rotate back into equities.
Sell pressure because itβs more efficient.
Welcome to Las Vegas
Aroma of societal decline fills the air.
The unmistakable stench of a bald man hitting on young women.
The Constant hum of boomers smacking buttons like rats in a cocaine experiment.
Shrouded in a sinister sense that this is all there is. A dopamine zoo.
The days of humans acting in commercials are probably over.
A 30-second video where viewers are only half paying attention.
Just not worth the production cost for 90% of ads.
@robertwarren@spacetime_btc@JasonPLowery Can you explain?
How can I judge the coherence of your argument when you just make definitive claims without any real explanation.
@robertwarren@spacetime_btc@JasonPLowery Why not?
The metaphor seems coherent. The grid produces and uses part of its energy to power hardware that attempts to find a block by producing only either the correct answer or the incorrect answer.
Boolean logic is just the utilization of True/False values.
True=block found
Whether you agree that the executive order is aggressive enough in buying Bitcoin, just pause for a moment to reflect on the fact Bitcoin has achieved full and complete political capture.
One of the greatest threats to Bitcoin's existence has been eliminated.
gold and 117 other elements are made of atoms, but no one is confuses gold with other elements. analogously, bitcoin is made of cryptography, software, networks grounded to physical scarcity with proof of work; and no one should confuse bitcoin with an unlimited alt coins.
@OnlyThroughGod Almost all Finnish from my momβs side but my dadβs side came from Austria/Switzerland to settle Pennsylvania in 1745. So that lineage has been mixed with all sorts of European genetics over the last ~250 years in America.
No proof of work! No mining ! Billions of tokens! Totally centralized! A company literally have all the supply! Hijack the blockchain technology to use for banks and legacy system! The last thing that I would care about bitcoin is the price!!
To be clear, the quoted tweet was (mostly) done in jest.
Normally in post-halving years, #BTC dominance does go down at some point (though it does not always have to start immediately like in 2021).
With that said, I do think the industry as a whole has partially lost its way and is now focusing on things that it should have rebuked. And when many people try to speak out, they are met with condescending responses and hate, so instead they just stay quiet.
At some point the crypto industry will likely go through a brutal awakening where it realizes that capital in the cryptoverse should be allocated differently. Instead of focusing on pumping and dumping memecoins, the industry should be striving to create real utility that actually improves society.
But who knows when that will be.
@OnlyThroughGod To be fair, this sort of messaging is how regular folks begin to get interested in metabolic/mitochondrial health.
The goal is to make our sphere of knowledge mainstream. Make it profitable for companies to produce metabolicly healthy products at scale. Onboarding normies is key
Bitcoin is by definition an apex predator. But, many people either have incentives to not understand or donβt have the intellectual capacity to understand game theory.
Proof of work is fundamental to the laws nature.
I hope my family can understand it before it is obvious
