Stand firmly against child marriage & polygamy.
The Double Standard .
โForced to flee our homes by the ravages of terrorism, many of us sought safety through official asylum pathways, only to be met with indefinite delays solely because of our nationality. Our applications remain in bureaucratic limboโneither formally accepted nor rejectedโexposing a stark gap between the humanitarian values nations proudly proclaim and the reality on the ground.
โWhen resettlement and open arms are granted selectively based on country of origin, international protection ceases to be a universal human right and becomes a tool for geopolitical optics. While certain refugee groups are celebrated across global media outlets as symbols of national compassion, others are left indefinitely in the shadows of the waiting line.
โThis selective empathy reveals a profound double standard. Displacement does not strip an individual of their humanity, nor does seeking asylum make one a criminal. Every displaced person, regardless of their nationality or place of origin, deserves equal dignity, transparent processing, and a fair share of the global protection framework. It is time for international organizations and governments to move beyond rhetoric and ensure that humanitarianism is applied universally, without discrimination.

Current immigration policies present a deep paradox by accommodating undocumented immigrants while delaying the processing of legitimate refugees. This inconsistency calls our humanitarian priorities into question, especially since facilitating undocumented immigration indirectly sustains human trafficking operations.

The Savaya file: How Washington is recasting power in Baghdad
According to information obtained byย @TheCradleMedia , the FBI questioned Sudani over claims that Mark Savaya, the former US special envoy to Iraq had received Iraqi money for several purposes. One alleged objective was to prompt Trump's public intervention against the return of former prime minister Nouri al-Maliki, whose candidacy Washingtonย openly opposed.
US sources also toldย The Cradle that investigators focused on how the money was allegedly transferred, the senior Iraqi figures involved, and what each expected in return. The sources claim Savaya received funds from Sudani and struck arrangements with as many as 30 Iraqi officials.

Ever since I began to understand the nature of the world, I realized that I do not belong to societies that subjugate women, deny fundamental human rights, suppress dissenting voices through force, and execute those who hold divergent beliefs. This is the reality of the Middle East.

@nenasmind@Fun_Viral_Vids In my opinion, this is artwork, not the picture itself, and deserves a place in the world's leading international museums.

Happy Canada Day ๐จ๐ฆ. We extend our best wishes for continued progress and a bright future, and we remain deeply grateful for the assistance provided to refugees seeking safety, security, and freedom.
โHowever, as Iraqi refugees currently in Tรผrkiye, we are experiencing a profound sense of despair. We feel as though we have become invisible, and it appears that there is no longer a place for us in countries like Canada that are known for welcoming refugees. It is disheartening to witness how political interference impacts those most in need of protection. There is a growing concern among us that the government in the Baghdad Green Zone is coordinating with Canada, the United States, the European Union, and other nations to facilitate the immediate rejection of Iraqi refugee applications.

Canada is helping refugees find safety & new beginnings, not only through financial support but also through offering resettlement.
Canada's support for UNHCR helps process refugee resettlement from ๐น๐ท, creating pathways to protection & durable solutions.
I will forever remember that critical juncture when the region was plunged into turmoil, civil liberties were extinguished, and the emergence of extremist banners signaled a total erosion of governance. That day marked a devastating assault on the principles of freedom, democracy, and human rightsโa truly somber chapter in the history of Mosul.
The collapse of Mosul into a state of systematic terror was a pivotal moment of rupture, one that definitively curtailed my scholarly pursuits. This profound loss functions as a chronic, haunting dissonance in my internal narrativeโan echo of a past abruptly silenced.

Protecting women rights is a collective responsibility. When one person's freedom is restricted, all of humanity is diminished. Speak up, stand tall, and fight for a world where your rights must be respected . ๐ค๐
