@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara the phrase trans rights are human rights is because state or federal governments do not recognize a group of people and either pass bills to suppress their rights as citizens solely based on what they identify as. they are limiting their rights as human beings.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara SS is still a DSD and it says people can have XY chromosomes while having female reproductive organs. Also for your chromosome chart, can you post your source to that? Been looking and I cannot find that.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara People in the trans community do not like those people as it causes a bad look for the trans community as a whole, this why you believe most trans people want rights taken away. You don't see the normal trans person. Both sides see the vocal minority who wants the other one dead.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara You don't have a say in whether the parents can consent or not as it isn't your kid and pretty much only the top level of insurance covers that.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara There is way more than just pure chromosomes that can determine if someone is male or not. Intersex or DSD can have fully functioning female reproductive organs but XY chromosomes. By your logic, someone who can birth children is also male.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara Most states have age limits put into place and if not, they have to have parental consent. Plus several insurance companies do not offer coverage on the procedures that you are talking about.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara Yes the people who you are gonna show will be again the vocal minority. I have trans friends and I have interacted with trans people. They do not want rights taken away. They just want to be able to identify as gender they are and have people leave them alone.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara Though gender has sex characteristics involved, they are still separate. If what you're saying was true, anyone who is born intersex cannot be identified as either gender that you believe in. Thus, why gender identity is important and different from a person's sex.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara The cosmetic ones are basic human rights. There's no legislation that is stopping plastic surgery being performed. It is your right as an American to be able to have those procedures. First it is cosmetic, then it is medical, then it is even being able to be trans all together.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara Nothing goes against human biology. Gender identity and human biology are 2 different things that do not go together. You can still identify as a woman and have male reproductive organs. Thus why it is gender identity. Sex and gender are 2 different things.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara also for your 3rd point, name like 3 trans people you personally know because I highly doubt you know that "most" want rights to be taken away from c i s gender people and you are just reading the opinions from what OP said a vocal minority.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara saying that trans people have the same rights as normal people, there are multiple states that are passing legislation to prevent gender affirming procedures and medication for LEGAL adults. states are trying to pass bills to stop people going to bathrooms that they identify as.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara (2/2) to call someone by the pronouns they wish to identify as? I would assume you are fine with nicknames, but yet for some reason you have an issue with calling someone by the pronouns they wish to identify as. It is called being respectful.
@ElveMaidenLOTR @kyokoasuhara (1/2) To talk about point 4 more, what if everyone just called you by the gender that you didn't identify as. Inb4 you say I identify as a woman because I was born a woman, it is still your gender identity. You would be pretty upset about it right? So why is it such a big deal
