Everything IS bigger in Texas...
Introducing TYLOSAURUS REX–“TEX”. A monster animal, a monster paper, & a monster project that I am *so* excited to finally share with everyone after ~5 yrs. Huge thanks to my coauthors, Mike & Ron, & to Alderon Games for bringing our lad to life!!
Skull used from Napoli & Zanno
Skeletal based on GetAwayTrike & Mark Witton
(Ps. we don’t know if it hunted in packs and we only know it ate Triceratops)
@TM9380 Ooo!! Lambeosaurine and Hadrosaurine diversity in Asia is something I’d love to see depicted!
Theres lots of hadrosaur diversity at the very end in China and Russia
while in Upper NA it’s all Edmontosaurus
Art by Audrey Atuchin
@TM9380 I like the plausible speculation that N. lethaeus was occasionally a kleptoparasite of N. lancensis, stealing its food by being bigger and more visually striking
Or Nanos using their big claws to dig up holes for caching/hoarding food to eat later like foxes
@TM9380@Riamus01 I would also like to see all those pachycephalosaurs because even if they’re all the same species (not) they’re so diverse and pretty to look at with the different head ornamentation
And they could just have Morgan Freeman say “This flat headed Pachycephalosaur” for ambiguity
