We ended up tuning up the dulcimers and playing them. Hearing them chuckling and smile playing “Row Row Row Your Boat” via me shouting fret numbers at them will be a highlight of this year, no doubt❤️
A field trip landed me with 3 advanced ukulele players in one class today. We talked as they walked in. They’re burnt out. One S asks me what’s in my other cupboard next to the ukes and little does he know it’s about 23 dulcimers I don’t know how to work into my curriculum

What do you think about this cursive comeback? ✍️
Today in “ideas-I-wish-were-mine” we we broke my no food rule and used thin and doublestuf Oreos to explore chord qualities in Songwriting! Thin=minor 3rds and Doublestuf=Major 3rds.
