I believe feminism media activism in society opens the door for dialogue. Whether positive or negative it gives people the opportunity to express themselves & hear different opinions.
During the pandemic, how did you use technology in a positive way to stay connected to the rest of the world? Do you find it made you actually feel connected?
I think its not only important to educate children about digital safety but also their parents... We all know our frontal lobe is not fully developed until at least 25 so we can't blame kids for being reckless at times online!
How can we help parents protect their children online? I've watched so many documentaries about children being bullied to the point of suicide on social media...
I was around 11 years old when I first deleted any social media account. I remember receiving a very creepy message from an old man, stating he saw my profile picture and found me beautiful. I felt an immediate pit in my stomach and deleted my profile right away...
I believe that our school tuition (especially for Highschool), should include a school laptop. This way, all children would have equal access to a technological device if required...
