#HYDRAA fenced and secured 200 acres of #governmentland worth nearly ₹30,000 crore in #Puppalaguda-#Khajaguda, protecting rare 2.5-billion-year-old #rockformations and #naturalheritagesites.

The action follows #HighCourt directions and comes after years of efforts by conservationists to save the historic rock landscape from encroachments.

The protected area also overlooks the rejuvenated #BhagirathammaCheruvu, boosting its potential as an eco-tourism destination.

Amid the ongoing conflict at #Khajaguda hills, HMDA has barred trekkers, calling their activities unsafe. Keys were handed only to HMDA, the dargah & temple. Trekkers allege the religious structures encroach the rocks and have approached #HYDRAA for help.
