We're dedicated to fighting against the Shelly Bay development. We report the latest on Shelly Bay, exposing the truth and corruption.

"We are resolute, we can wait." That's the message from iwi members and protesters occupying Wellington's Shelly Bay, where a development is planned. https://t.co/y8otiI02dQ
@DanHenry73@MauWhenua No, can't argue with any of that. It's well put and quite depressing. The WCC has failed our city in so many ways. Wellington is going downhill quickly.
Tamatha Paul said he “totally disregard the will of his council"
It should be noted all 3 of these women voted yes to the sale. I find it ironic they criticise Andy for going against the will of the Council when they themselves went against the will of the people they represent.
Some Councillors commented on Andy helping put up tents
Jill Day: The mayor has compromised his ability to represent us as a council by flagrantly disregarding a council decision
Fleur Fitzsimons: I’m astonished to see our mayor protest a decision of his own council in this way"
"This is a grassroots movement."
Mana whenua who oppose a controversial development at Shelly Bay in Wellington have set up tents on the site and are vowing to stay on the land until their case comes before the court.

@JCarnabyKing I would argue is the council going against what Wellingtonians want a good look? Especially the councillors who were elected on the basis they would vote no, but then voted yes.
