@NorthfieldJFC1 @south_friends @seftoncouncil @Carra23 Improvement & maintenance of grass pitches wouldn't exclude those who can't afford to pay to play/ are not in a team & wouldn't disadvantage the rest of the community. The damage to the environment & to people's health & well being of a scheme like this cannot be underestimated!

@NorthfieldJFC1 @south_friends @seftoncouncil @Carra23 As a footy mum myself I understand the need for decent pitches & that some clubs might be swayed by a promised low cost to hire the 3G pitch for a few years, but improved grass pitches, properly maintained & secured would give our kids free access to great pitches and facilities.
