I spoke last night with President @realDonaldTrump about the memorandum of understanding to reopen the Straits of Hormuz and the upcoming negotiations toward a final agreement on Iran’s nuclear program.

I expressed my deep appreciation to President Trump for his unwavering commitment to Israel’s security, including during Operation Roaring Lion and Epic Fury, when American and Israeli forces fought shoulder to shoulder against the Iranian threat.

President Trump and I agreed that any final agreement with Iran must eliminate the nuclear danger. That means dismantling Iran’s nuclear enrichment sites and removing its enriched nuclear material from its territory.

President Trump also reaffirmed Israel’s right to defend itself against threats on every front, including Lebanon.

The partnership between us and our two countries has been proven on the battlefield and has never been stronger. 

My policy, like President Trump’s, remains unchanged: Iran will not have nuclear weapons.

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
the world is full of pain, displacement, and sorrow. Many people have been forced from their homes by violence and fear. Yet history shows us communities who hold tightly to the land of their fathers, returning again and again even after destruction. This reminds us of a spiritual truth found throughout the Bible: faith, perseverance, and hope in God.
The people of the land of Palestine often return to their homes after hardship. Their persistence reminds us of a lesson people who believe in the value of their home and heritage continue to stand firm. For believers, however, our ultimate strength and guidance must always come from God and His Word.

In the book of Book of Nehemiah, the people of Israel returned to a ruined city after exile. The walls of Jerusalem had been broken down, and enemies surrounded them. Fear filled the land, but God raised a servant Nehemiah.
Nehemiah gathered the people and said:
“Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” — Nehemiah 4:14
So the people rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem. Some held tools to build, and others held weapons to guard. They worked day and night, trusting that God would protect them.
Despite threats and attacks, they did not abandon their city. They rebuilt what was destroyed and restored their home through faith, courage, and unity.

The lesson is not about hatred or revenge, but about faith, resilience, and standing firm in God’s promises. When hardship comes, believers should not lose hope or abandon their calling. Instead, we stand together in prayer, wisdom, and perseverance.
The Bible tells us in Book of Joshua:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9
And again in Book of Psalms:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

My beloved brethren, let us learn the power of perseverance. When trials come, we do not surrender our faith, our dignity, or our hope. Instead we return to God, rebuild what has been broken, and trust that the Lord who watches over His people will never abandon them.
Let our strength be in prayer, our shield be faith, and our hope be Christ.
May the Lord give courage to every suffering community and bring peace to every land.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
