May 28th is #menstrualhygieneday! No student should be disadvantaged because of their period. Be a part of the change and advocate for menstrual equity for all!

[Thames Valley DSB @TVDSB]

May 28 marks Menstrual Hygiene Day, where we take a moment to discuss the importance of ending menstrual poverty. Student Trustee Savrup Saran & Student Trustees Elect Emma Park and Shivani Vimal created this video promoting the importance of menstrual equity today, & everyday.

[OSTA-AECO @OSTAAECO]

It's imperative to recognize the importance of menstrual equity today and every day.

This video was made alongside our partners Marlow and Period Ontario.

Education reporter @HeatheratLFP spoke with @Sflecce about the new rules for cellphones in Ontario schools and how he plans to make restrictions in the classroom work: https://t.co/aoP8aZHCM4 #ldnont #onpoli

[Stephen Lecce @Sflecce]

Student opinions matter.

That's why I appreciated the incredibly helpful feedback of Student Trustees @OSTAAECO, as we build out a new province-wide policy to reduce cell phone distractions during instructional time.

This is a critical step forward as we go #BackToBasics in Ontario classrooms.

A @TVDSB student trustee is raising the alarm about the potential end to a program that provides menstrual products in washrooms at London-area schools and across the province. @HeatheratLFP has more: https://t.co/R9imSeN3L1 #ldnont

Wonderful event to honour the 260 @TVDSB retirees last night & their years of service to our students & others in our Thames Valley community. Wishing all retirees the best as they enter this new phase in their lives. Thanks also to student trustees for being such fabulous MCs.
