Storms can be difficult to predict & 24 hours ago, #Helene was expected to have a much bigger impact on our area. This morning, the storm path moved east, which drastically lessened the impact. Currently, we have ~1,700 meters impacted. Read more at https://t.co/zknMHV8uJ2
27 active outages affect 199 meters. These are isolated & mainly due to trees. A more eastward path has reduced the impact thus far. We continue to monitor & are mindful of our sister electric coops who have experienced major outages. Regular updates at https://t.co/sYOc53Z1Zm.
Crews have responded to isolated outages throughout the night. At this time, we have 15 outages & 158 meters. Crews have been assigned and are responding. Additional crews from surrounding states are onsite, with more enroute. Stay safe and away from any downed power lines.

Last night's storms took down multiple trees and caused ~10,350 members to be without power. Our crews jumped into action & by 12:30 am restored power to ~9,000 members and the remaining members were restored before the sun rose. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
