[JAMES | ANIMOCA VENTURES @JIQQYJONES]

Decentralised AI is definitely one of the biggest narratives of this cycle. We @animocaventures have been tracking DeAI closely since 2022, and started engaging with veteran AI teams, like we do for gaming.

Sharing more abt our lead investment in a DeAI project: 🔥@KIPprotocol

Julian @julian_KIP and Jen @HumanLevelJen are veterans in the AI and ML space, having used ML techniques to serve large organisations with their data analysis needs since 2019. They were in particular specialists in the then-new techniques of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). 🧠

We engaged the KIP team in 22/23 specifically to use their RAG framework to analyse portco and investment data. This was a force-multiplier for us in light of the sheer mountain of data we receive everyday. 📊

The results using KIP’s tech were impressive, given that we didn’t have to train our own models, but were still able to use AI to analyse data.

This is extremely relevant for the bulk of organisations who wish to use AI without the commitment and costs associated with model training. #KnowledgeFi framework), solving critical problems of ownership in AI

The @Chainlink 2023 hackathon is strong testament of their technical creds. 🏆

Having seen firsthand how decentralized AI can be a game-changer, and having worked with Julian and Jen closely, we were glad to lead the rounds into KIP, knowing that their approach to deAI has the potential to be a force multiplier for businesses in every sector.

Monetisation rights for all while retaining full digital property rights in AI - that’s what KIP accomplishes.

3/ AMA with Particle Network and Network3

big shoutout to Port3 Network for hosting this insightful discussion on the future of AI and blockchain. If you weren't able to join us live, you can catch up with the session here: https://t.co/VXeymtqEdd

4/ TinTin meeting

We delved into the decentralized underpinnings of AI and unveiled the journey of KIP Protocol. For those who missed it, we discussed the importance of a decentralized protocol for AI development and shared insights into our progress and future plans.

https://t.co/XgSquHSpZk

5/ Web3Go DeDIN Spring AMA

Our CEO Julian shared exciting developments about KIP's advancements in decentralized AI. He explained how KIP is integrating datasets, models, and applications directly on the blockchain. Julian highlighted KIP's achievement in creating one of the first instances of decentralized RAG, where everything from the dataset to the application is kept on-chain. This innovation supports the establishment of a Web3 framework, where dataset owners can secure digital property rights through an ERC-3525 token. This allows data owners to connect with AI models and perform transactions to receive AI-powered insights, ensuring transparency and ownership rights.

https://t.co/LsKN73wkC4

6/ Port3 Network partnership

KIP Protocol has partnered with Port3 Network to enhance AI data monetization and privacy within the decentralized AI space. Port3 Network offers extensive Web3 datasets, decentralized computing, and advanced data integration and monetization solutions, along with privacy technologies to maintain data integrity. This strategic alliance is focused on securely and equitably monetizing AI data while ensuring data privacy and advancing the decentralized AI industry.

8/ MirrorWorld partnership

This collaboration grants KIP’s app developers access to the World Store's API, connecting them to an active user base of over 500,000 across 50+ projects. Moreover, transactions on both platforms will now reward users with loyalty points, which we believe will drive faster adoption of $KIP and expand the KIP Protocol ecosystem's growth.

11/ DeFiDiscussion AMA

Our CEO Julian shared his insights at the DeFiDiscussion panel on DecentralizedAI. He emphasized the transformative potential of decentralized RAG and the importance of property rights in knowledge assets, envisioning a new economic ecosystem. Julian stressed that capitalism hinges on property rights, and by enabling ownership of knowledge assets, we can unlock a market previously unimagined. He also warned of the dangers of centralized AI, advocating for a decentralized approach to ensure that AI reflects our collective interests rather than the agenda of a central corporate entity. Julian's vision is for a decentralized AI that mirrors our shared motivations and identities, creating a fair and equitable AI landscape.

https://t.co/FrlqM1staX

12/ Devolved AI partnership

KIP joined forces with Devolved AI to take AI to the next level. We're reimagining the future of decentralized AI by offering AI tooling that opens up new opportunities for enthusiasts, builders, and data providers within our protocols. Our collaboration is also introducing privacy-preserving datasets that will help scale and enrich the KnowledgeFi and RAG infrastructure. Additionally, we're leveraging community GPUs to significantly accelerate AI model training, which in turn fosters decentralized development.

Sign Protocol: Establish Unprecedented Levels of On-Chain Trust

Sign Protocol is an omni-chain platform designed for control and creation of on-chain attestations.

Here is in-depth overview of Sign Protocol written by Co-Founder, and CTO @headcpx: https://t.co/TpH6MmH1mD

So, what sets Sign Protocol apart?

Open ecosystem with verifiable consent bridging
Sign Protocol is omni-chain, with the ability to operate on Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin, much like EthSign Next. Sign Protocol offers verifiable consent bridging that enables schemas and attestations to be freely bridged between all supported chains, including Arweave. For example, if you attested on Arweave but want to move your consent to other chains for the sake of smart contract interoperability, we can get it done. Actually, scratch that — we don’t get it done, YOU get it done!

Tailored Storage
Optimize your approach with the robust guarantees of on-chain storage or the cost-efficiency of Arweave. Sign Protocol effectively bridges these options for decentralization without breaking the bank.

Attest with No Gas Limits
If your attestation data size results in skyrocketing gas fees, simply offload it to Arweave or IPFS* with our help and store a lightweight CID instead. Sign Protocol schemas and attestations have built-in indicators that make it clear where data should be fetched from. If you are not a fan of decentralized storage or have data custody restrictions, we also support unchecked custom storage locations.

Sign Protocol is built with privacy at its core
EthSign Password Manager is integrated into Sign Protocol to make passwordless private attestations possible on public blockchains. Make the contents of your attestation visible to nobody but specified recipients with a single click, only at Sign Protocol.

Here is a thread on how EthSign’s Password Manager works: https://t.co/XgxE20hWGW

What can you achieve with Sign Protocol?
Utilize hooks contracts to implement customized logic, fostering reputation systems, targeted airdrops, and novel decentralized applications driven by verified data.

Streamlined Web2 integrations with zkAttestations empower trust-based interactions without dependence on centralized intermediaries. User credentials and activity become verifiable through zero-knowledge proofs.
