@Black_Ninja123@PaletteMeringue@nanonano_me Tickets are sold via lottery for a lot of these shows and require a Japanese Phone and Address, some require Japanese ID to get in, and some refuse any payment not Japanese in origin. The system for venues in JP out of either incompetence or malice doesn't like selling to gaijin.
@Flagged_Rice At the Hololive shows in Japan yes. They have special tickets for foreigners because otherwise you need a JP phone and address to get into the lottery. The foreign tickets are for a section where they put the non JP tickets so Taiwan, China, Korea, SEA, EU, NA fans end up there
Reminds me too much of the Gaijin section they stuff all the foreigners into at Hololive Fes. Limit the number of tickets sold to non-JP and then stuff them in a corner away from the JP fans.
Japan artists post these all the time but fail to understand that their entertainment industry inherently hates foreigners. From region locking music digitally to needing a Japanese address and phone number to buy concert ticketsโฆ it gets exhausting, honestly.
