As a Black man and part of the community it’s ALWAYS disheartening watching Black Women steal/use our lingo and rhetoric and pass it off as theirs. The ONLY woman I can think of that actually gives credit where it’s due is Keke Palmer. These phrases aren’t made by cis black women. They’re made by black queer men/women. Yes it matters. Voices are being silenced and others are being praised for the work of the silenced.
