The Br·had·aranya·ka Upa·nishad says “The earth is (like) honey to all beings and all beings are (like) honey to this earth.”Hindus are mindful of the law of kar·ma (how we engage with others, comes back to us) & ri·tam (nature's own rhythms). They see Mother Earth as a sacred living entity who has the right to be protected - as opposed to humans having the right to use the earth like a commodity.
The ancient Bhoo·mi Suk·tam declares“The Earth is my mother & I am her son (child)”. In Hindu dharma, the earth is honored as Bhoo·mata (mother earth) or Bhoo·devi divine Mother Earth, the creative force of nature. Having a sense of belonging creates a desire to protect Mother Earth.
In 2022, the theme for the Hindu Heritage Month was @tdsb_HHM Bhumi Devi: our Sacred Mother Earth. Seeing the divine in all of creation is one aspect of this principle of Oneness. Hindu way of living emphasizes coexistence with nature in harmony. Coexistence means interdependence, with mutual benefit to humans & mother earth.

There was never a sovereign Arab state called “Palestine.” The British Mandate of Palestine was simply British administration over the historic Land of Israel after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.

Jews lived continuously in the land for centuries — including under Ottoman rule, when they formed the majority in Jerusalem. Before 1909, Tel Aviv was empty desert legally purchased by Jews, who built it from nothing. No Arabs were displaced.

After the British handed the mandate to the UN, the Arab world rejected the partition plan and launched a war to destroy the Jewish state. Arab armies and local militias tried to “push the Jews into the sea.” At the same time, Arab countries ethnically cleansed their ancient Jewish communities, forcing nearly a million Jews to flee to Israel.

During the war, Arab leaders ordered local Arabs to evacuate combat zones so their armies could annihilate the Jews. Many of those who left later became permanent “refugees” under Egyptian and Jordanian control.

Israel has never committed genocide — and never will. By defending itself, it prevents another holocaust.

Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Islamic regime of Iran are the real obstacles to peace in the Middle East.

Parsi woman married to a Muslim gets her last rites done as per Hindu Dharma:

Thirty-five years ago, a woman named Navsari got married to a Muslim professor. The professor met the woman while she was doing her bachelor's degree in Gujarati language.

The duo grew closer. The woman told her family she wanted to marry the man who was 15 years older than her, but with relentless pressure the family gave in. The woman was abandoned by Parsi social circles; her family also severed ties with her.

Reportedly, she did not convert and practiced Zoroastrianism. Recently she fell ill and, after being treated for days at a Parsi-run hospital, she died on June 4.

The husband contacted some clerics who denied permission for her burial. The same happened with the Parsi community. Finding no help, he called a VHP functionary and his friend, who helped him, and the woman's last rites were performed as per Hindu Dharma.
