@SEN_advice Sections b/f sorted through tribunal Jan 2023. Annual review April 2023. Annual review completed Nov 2023 and LA reduced SLCN to 2.5 lines without evidence and moved SaLT provision from section f to health so has not been provided. Tribunal in Nov 2024, final evidence was March!

@eleanorjwright Yep, my son needs SaLT to access education but LA took 7 months to produce amended EHCP with vague provision put in section g. Tribunal in November 2024 and now LA saying we can’t be part of meeting with the LA, SaLT and psychiatrist as they are witnesses/potential witnesses! 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is important work by Prof Clements and colleagues. FII is extremely rare, and the unfounded suggestion of it is highly damaging to parents and children. More care needed by professionals, to ensure legitimate safeguarding concerns are those that get investigated
