We are the ones who hyped up Fabio Borini’s goal celebration, who thought Konchesky was a top Premier League-proven left-back, who bought into the idea that Joe Allen was the Welsh Pirlo (or Xavi), and that Jordon Ibe was the next big English star - good enough to sell Sterling because “this guy’s even better.”
And on, and on, and on…

We who went through all that deserve to see our club now operate like the best in the world - planning smartly, signing world-class players, building a squad ready to attack every trophy, and giving us peace of mind for the next 4–5 years with only small tweaks.
