Today the #sanbartolomurals were declared Cultural Patrimony of the Nation of Guatemala! This is a welcome announcement and we hope this recognized status will help safeguard and protect the outstanding wall paintings for generations of the future.
Getting to site was not easy-mechanical trouble and many tree falls to clear. #Garmin GPS kept us updated & they reached camp at the end of day 2. Today, the second wave of personnel headed to site – arriving at dusk. #PRASBX2023 season has begun! Many thanks @nehgov
