I've also said veterans should be offered prison officer and police roles before they leave the forces. It would prevent so much homelesses I know not all. It would help them change back into civvy life with a structured job they are partially trained for already. I'd stop benefits for anyone that hasn't lived here 5 years that's not born here. I'd start day release from school at 14 for all trades so kids who aren't academic can learn with a tradesman once a week making classes smaller for the academic kids. I'd bring in 16-18 apprenticeships again for the really low money while the kids are still at home with a day release to 6th from learning their trade and the little bit of the academic side of it.
