❗ 𝗔 𝗳𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄. 𝗔 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁. $𝟭,𝟲𝟬𝟬 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁.

I've been in crypto since 2018 and never thought I'd fall for something like this. I was contacted for what appeared to be a legitimate remote job.

The scammers created an entire hiring process with multiple emails, a professional-looking website, and an interview platform. The "company" is called The Trading Field on linkedin and the job position "Crypto Ecosystem Specialist".

The interview was scheduled on a strange platform called , which got me suspicious but looked clean enough for me to go through with it. When the interview started, I got an error saying that my microphone couldn't be found and to download their Desktop app.

There was a prerecorded woman on video saying she couldn't hear me and instructing me to install their interview application.

Under the pressure of trying to fix the interview, I downloaded and ran the installer, only after running the installer and seeing a CLI for 2 seconds, I realised what I've done.

I've immediatelly done a complete reinstall of Windows from a clean bootable USB drive. However, a few hours later, my MetaMask wallet was completely drained.

Looking back, I believe my biggest mistake was keeping my MetaMask Secret Recovery Phrase in a plain .txt file on my PC (idiot move I know, but I was able to ward off the malwares for the past 8 years and didnt see chances of anyone infecting my PC.

My PC was actually turned off when the funds were stolen, which makes sense if they had already obtained the recovery phrase. Thankfully, my main holdings are on a different hardware wallet so those were not affected.

The loss was my hot wallet, around $1,600, but that's still a significant amount for me and my family. Please learn from my mistakes and keep your crypto in cold storage.

I also never thought it would happen to me, and after 8 years, all it took was a second of not thinking straight.

These scams are becoming more elaborate by the day and they socially engineer you as much as possible, slowly taking their time with HR processes and not rushing so you think they're for real.

I think them saying that the company is founded in 2018 but me not being able to find a single entry about them online should've been obvious in hindsight. Their website is in case anyone cares.

I will be reporting them on linkedin so it doesn't happen to more people.

I sent 1000$ to calidistrodirect on telegram And they sent a pack that got "stolen" in the US (did not even left the country if orgin) then they say they will do a reship for me, now 2,5 months later they have many excuses why they still not have sent the reship "bro i got no Lamousse in stock" then they have it in stock and 2 days later its out of stock again....

I was in shock and couldn't process it. So I withdrew another 3$ from my binance to the wallet to confirm my wallet has been compromised.

My private keys are safe in my fricking physical locker, I haven't interacted with any shady crypto material, no airdrops, no smart contracts, nothing. Clueless. So are the support team.

I can't even chat with the support team on exodus, it's showing that I have an issue with account and no option to continue chat. Edit: stay away from my DM's you goofy scammers. May you rot in hell.

❗ My exchange got hacked $6,300,000,000

I woke up in the middle of the night because my phone wouldn’t stop buzzing. Messages, missed calls, screenshots. Then I saw the news about Binance.

I sat on the edge of the bed, reading everything twice and trying to work out what was confirmed. Every group chat had a different number. I started calling people.

I don’t run the exchange anymore, but I spent years building it. Seeing news like that doesn’t feel distant just because you’ve stepped away.

I wanted answers to the same questions everyone else had. What happened? Were customer funds affected? Had it been contained?

I didn’t go back to sleep.

I am an active member in the Premium Hoodies community group chat on Telegram which is a group to vibe and help other people from the community.

But Theres something that happens which is every time someone asks for something a fake admin username speaks to the person and tries to scam them. The real admins telegram is tims_market and the fake one is all capital TlMS_MARKET.

What the fake one does to deceive people is he makes it all capital and replaces the i with an l (L) to make it look like his the real one. Please becareful

I woke up this morning to find my wallet completely drained, with all my tokens sent out without my consent.

I'm struggling to understand how this could have happened since l've never clicked on any phishing links or interacted with suspicious airdrops. I also have multiple wallets with different exchanges and have never experienced anything like this before.

If anyone could help with this issue it would be much appreciated. I am also aware of the fact that chance of getting my money back are slim.

sent 12.000€ to a telegram channel named vikings. we should hace starter a collab; he sent me first a pack containing a third of the order then he sends another theorically containg the test and it comes empty. when confronted he started calling me a liar and a scammer. trieste a lot even contacting mutual coworkers and managed to get nothing still.
