Media & reporters get it through your heads - Diaper don’s dumb & ignorant, but he’s not trying to describe reality. He says what he wants people to repeat for him & to tell them how he wants them to act. It’s bullying to get his way, not communication or rational argument.
Americans defeated Nazis. We didn’t elect a president to decorate the White House with imagery that evokes one of history’s most evil regimes. If millions of people immediately see fascist symbolism, you’ve already failed the test of leadership. History isn’t something to imitate—it’s something to remember. Shame on Donald Trump.
Dr Oz on ACA "fraud" -- "Of the people who signed up, 40% never use the insurance. Let me ask you, John, you have health insurance -- do you use it once a year? In Obamacare right now 40% of the people ostensibly signed up never use the insurance ... we have a lot of fake people on the policies"
@atrupar Dr. Oz is at it again, increasing his lie on "fraud" from 35% to 40%.
Insurance needs people who don't file claims to stay viable. That's how it works. Calling them "fake" is just more bullshit.
Dr. Oz, why aren't you asking the harder question? If millions of people pay premiums and don't use their insurance, that's incredibly profitable for insurance companies.
Why aren't you investigating denied claims, prior authorizations, surprise bills, and record insurer profits instead of implying that people who don't need medical care are somehow "fake"?
Over 50% of insured Americans struggle to afford seeing a doctor, and 1 in 4 insured Americans skip medical treatments because of out-of-pocket costs.
The actual fraud is Americans being price gouged on healthcare.
Eviction notices have been sent to farmers in northern Vietnam to make way for a $1.5 billion Trump Organization-branded luxury golf resort project.
Trump never divested from the Trump Org, so this project is one of his countless conflicts of interest. https://t.co/FdpTBl2yMc
Trump’s golf courses, hotels, condos, and licensing deals sit in exactly the kinds of businesses most useful for laundering money, parking foreign capital, buying influence, disguising political payments, inflating asset values, and converting state favor into private wealth.
Trump’s hospitality empire is a laundering-friendly influence infrastructure.
The Trump Organization will collect a $5 million licensing fee from the developer (Kinhbac City's subsidiary) for the rights to the Trump name. Once construction wraps and the resort opens (circa 2029), they'll also earn a management fee tied to the developments operating revenue. That's the standard playbook for these deals — they don't develop, but rather they sell the naming rights. It's baffling that anyone still equates the Trump name with luxury or success.
@CREWcrew Trump used tariff threats against Vietnam to "convince" them to fast track the approvals for this resort.
He is a criminal, and should be impeached AGAIN for this breach of trust, and abuse of power.
Just 1 of dozens of impeachable offences for his 2nd term!!
Yesterday I visited Donald Trump’s “Great American State Fair” at the National Mall. To call it a bust would be generous. Here’s my short summary of the visit. Enjoy!
JD Vance: "I think Nixon's historical legacy is enjoying a bit of a renaissance, and deservedly so. I joked that if Watergate happened tomorrow, it would be like a 12 hours news story. The idea that it took down a presidency is crazy."
“Crazy” that a president punished for committing crimes.
Republicans reject the idea that the government and Republican officials have: limited power, legal and moral obligations, and accountability to the law and the public.
JD Vance: "I think Nixon's historical legacy is enjoying a bit of a renaissance, and deservedly so. I joked that if Watergate happened tomorrow, it would be like a 12 hours news story. The idea that it took down a presidency is crazy."
I actually think this statement is a big deal.
Because it tells you all you need to know. They believe, in their bones, in an imperial presidency where the executive rules absolutely and uses his power to destroy enemies and enrich himself.
