As a Holocaust Survivor, Israel’s genocide in Gaza is not done in my name.

I see echoes of the Holocaust in Gaza today:

Dehumanisation, humiliation, large-scale killings, destruction of families and the determination in which they are destroying the whole of Gaza is very similar to the cruelty of the fascist regimes.

What happened to the Jewish people, the industrial scale of extermination and invisible emotional pain, is so horrendous that it should never be repeated anywhere in the world.

That is why we say not in our name and Never Again.

Fascism thrives on indifference and the general public being intimidated or looking the other way due to self-preservation.

Don’t look the other way.

Be brave, and on the right side of history.

Many years ago I took my family to Auschwitz. It was horrific. Every child should visit it as a warning how man can be so cruel to man. I have also visited Gaza and am surprised that Israelis can be so cruel to Palestinians having experienced Auschwitz.
