Scarlet Cox

Filthy-minded erotica author. I write dirty M/M smut about bondage, domination, humiliation, and more.

@PortiaDaCosta ...yet TheHustle themselves claim that their site "teaches you how to become a better person".

Oh the irony!

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@PortiaDaCosta TheHustle's lovely article in which some fool stole a book, sold it through KDP, and it all went horribly wrong...

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

Anyone is welcome to explain to me how plagiarising an author "teaches you how to become a better person". Anyone?

@Writer_Lana @johndylena @LeighWilder42 Well, shit. :D

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@Writer_Lana @johndylena @LeighWilder42 He's going to be a greedy bastard by going to work in the morning to earn enough to support us both.

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@Writer_Lana @johndylena @LeighWilder42 Alas I must head to bed now so that Mr. Cox can sleep.

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@Writer_Lana @johndylena D:

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@Writer_Lana @johndylena ...is bizarre.

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@Writer_Lana @johndylena ...just magic costs like editing, proofreading and cover design out of our bums and give books away for free...

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@Writer_Lana @johndylena The break-even point on getting books edited is horribly low. But it has to be done. The idea that we can...

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@johndylena @Writer_Lana The issue I see is that some people might just go full-on padding.

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@clarkesworld @Writer_Lana @strangehorizons That's because you guys are awesome <3

[Scarlet Cox @ScarletCox]

@Writer_Lana @johndylena I suppose really the question is: how do libraries handle it? Because it's the same principle.
