“Always happy to be on shift with you-” leaning over to press a kiss to larks cheek, because he can.
“just getting some air.” and it's an excuse to see him so, win win.
“Someone’s happy tonight. Glad to be on the same shift as me, babes?” Lark checks an ID and lets a couple of patrons in the club.
“Whatcha doin’ outside?”
Ryan gave his best shot at a smile while his mind is reeling on why he'd acted like that, probably nothing. at least he tries convincing himself of that.
“That.. that sounds good to me.”
Lark reaches out a tentative hand, placing it on Ryan’s shoulder. Looking into his eyes as best he could in the lights of the club.
“Let’s go outside, yah? I need some air.”
“I..” the music is loud around them, he takes a moment to, get himself together. he isn't sure what happened either.
“sorry, don't know what just happened.”
He's definitely still careful that if the dogs manage to get much of anything- that it's safe for them.
Maybe one day Ryan should try his hand at making dog treats for them.
Cuddled happily, warm.. why would he want to be anywhere else? Let alone get up?
“Probably..” mumbled out.. play a sick day? it is a very tempting thought..
After a long moment, longer then he meant but he was falling in and out of sleep he mumbled.
“We don’t haveta get up tomorrow right?” They probably did. Maybe this would convince Ryan they shouldn’t.
“Happy to be ya heater.” he teases lightly, soft smile. “Can go whenever you want.”
It was true, it wouldn't take long for a chill to set in, neither of them want that; nor to risk getting sick.
“Course you are~” he laughed. “You want to stay here or head back home?” Even if they were warm in each others arms it would only be a matter of time before they were cold again.
Soft chuckling, before he's peppering kisses in return, smiling like an idiot all the while.
Missing boyfriend hours goes both ways, whenever they're apart.
