Saturday we're part of the @AllAbout02143 Holiday Stroll again, just at a new spot! Come to 12 Tyler Street 12n-6p and we'll make your video holiday greetings! All we ask is a donation to the Somerville Homeless Coalition.
Thank you for all your support over the past three and a half years, throughout my campaign and time on the Council! As I look back, I am so proud of everything we have been able to accomplish together. 1/14π§΅

Somerville has lost a cornerstone of our community - Rest in Peace, Howard Horton. My deepest condolences are with his family and everyone who knew and loved him.

SCATV stands for Somerville Community Access Television, and it is what started SMC. He was one of those pushing to give our community access, and we will honor his work when we give others access to the tools to tell their story. Thank you, Howard.
Howard Horton worked for then-mayor Gene Brune on setting up public access so it is independent. Brune: "Our plan was to set up a nonprofit and keep it out of the hands of politics. We called the nonprofit SCATV"
