On average one person dies every two days in our city due to drug related harm, we will not sit quietly and wait, join us in demanding a Safe Consumption Facility.

The Edinburgh Integrated Joint Board have confirmed that a consultation on the establishment of a Safe Consumption Facility in Edinburgh will go ahead in early 2026, this is a win.

It would not have happened without the fantastic work of everyone involved in this campaign. But we need as many perspectives on this as possible to make sure the facility works for all, and we need people to put pressure on the council to get the work done quickly.

Over 30 people, including new faces, demanded action from MSPs & Councillors on the drug deaths crisis.

Campaign members brilliantly shared our fight - the context & our successes - and secured 4 politicians fully backing our demands!

✅ MSP Ben MacPherson & Cllrs Katrina Faccenda, Finlay McFarlane, Alex Staniforth engaged with working-class communities - and agreed to their demands.
✅ Secured MSP Roundtable at Parliament.
✅ Cllrs agreed to pressure the delayed EADP SCF Project, for progress & involvement.
