I've been in the FGC for a while now. I've watched many talented players never achieve what they deserve. It almost never has to do with their mechanics. It's the mindset. Here are a few mindset shifts that actually move the needle. (1/5)
> sell 3 million copies in the first week
> reach a player peak of over 500,000
> receive universal praise on release
So how does Slay the Spire II currently have a "Mixed" rating on Steam?
Because Steam user reviews are not really reviews in the traditional sense. Instead, they're used as a bargaining chip to communicate real time grievances with game updates, bugs, and developer choices at the expense of a game's actual overall quality and reputation.
This is one of the many reasons why I don't trust user reviews and scores.
If you're fed up with the current state of 3D fighters might I recommend you a good game to pick up that's on sale for only 15 bucks USD: https://t.co/osSBXpRXgT
give it a shot, you might like what you play!
Hi!
I wrote a little read about how I approach learning a new 3D fighting game! Way too big for twitter though :(
If you have some time, give a read! Hope it can help at least someone!
