Traditional racism says it's in the blood of certain foreign cultures to act barbaric. Muslim specific racism pretends it's about the religion to make it legitimate.

Middle Eastern/ Asian appearance - Traditional + Muslim racism. Black African appearance - Traditional + Muslim racism.

@EdmundBerry5 @Ozlem_2368 @pauldbowen I am a white British Muslim. If I am not wearing my hijab and I decide to commit a crime, I am just a criminal. If I put on my hijab and do something, I am assumed to be a foreign immigrant and doing it because I am a Muslim.

@SemiInquisitor2 @J1mClark @JMcr2022 I'm not suggesting it's the same situation, but there is a certain hypocrisy when you see so many people openly calling for a violent defence of our country against foreign invaders because our government won't, yet Palestinians should just leave or accept genocide.

@SemiInquisitor2 @J1mClark @JMcr2022 You don't need to convince me of the nature of Hamas but you would need to convince me how genocide can be a legitimate military strategy to defeat them. Nobody should be ok with kids being slaughtered. Some of the same people livid about Southport are silent on that.

The aid to India is not charity, both parties are benefiting in trade activities, particularly after Brexit.

That's what a lot of people have been protesting , yet they get labelled as islamist terrorist sympathisers. I get why you feel annoyed about the right wing racist label.

@SemiInquisitor2 @J1mClark @JMcr2022 Agree - the valid issue you raise is whether people are in genuine need or not. It's down to the government to come up with a robust system to stop organised criminals using this route to come in under the radar. For people who are genuine it takes time to start contributing.
