@KarenWhitworth One pedal driving was unique. Had to change the regen to the lowest level. Man oh man it’s fast. Lots of Evs are fast. And with the weather couldn’t really punch it too hard… but she moves.

Finally test drove the Rivian R2. It was POURING rain here in Chicago today.I was the only one in the car for my 30 min drive. Took it on the highway for a bit. It was a tad overwhelming for a first time ever driving an EV. It was great!

@R1Stephanie For sure would have helped. Would have helped too probably not to have a test drive while it was monsooning outside. lol. It was what it was. Glad I got a chance to drive it. But would advise others to have a buddy or spouse go with them

@EthanPh I would compare it, in terms of size, to something like a Toyota RAV4. When you see it next to an R1, the size difference is noticeable. All depends on your needs. Size works for me.

@Mikekantorski And almost wish I had someone else with me.. either from Rivian or my wife so I could have focused on smaller details. But it was fun as hell to drive and handled itself really well in the rain. Very sturdy and solid.

Rivian R2 at old orchard event (Illinois). Was most curious of overall size. If I had to make a rough comparison, it’s similar in size to a high end rav 4… maybe a little bigger. Was VERY nice IMO.
