Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, told Newsmax on Tuesday that former special counsel Jack Smith's testimony before his committee reinforced his assertion that Smith's election investigation extended far beyond the events of Jan. 6, 2021.

"I think that we learned through the thousands of pages that I've released to the public that Jack Smith was a tool of the Biden administration to put Trump in prison," Grassley said on "The Record With Greta Van Susteren."
