@jared_geisler I think that's 1 of the things that makes the US uniquely problematic, though, that holds us back from catching up to the rest of the world. In some other countries, socialist ideals that embed compassion in a way that collectively benefits everyone does sell
It's now evident that, when everyday Americans feel financially insecure, there's only 1 message people know: dissent. No matter who's in power. Facts/lies don't matter. Decency/character don't matter. Religious values/the planet don't matter. Only greed.
@jared_geisler Yes. I do believe that. Trump being a genius businessman that can disrupt the status quo in a productive and meaningful way is a MYTH. He's dumb as rocks, as confirmed by those who are with him behind closed doors, including ppl i know personally.
@jared_geisler Yes. In this instance, both. When more important things are on the line, people only care about money. As a society, we're inherently too self-interested. We're too quick to blame govt when it's corporate greed that has us all strangled.
@mitch__carroll My wife and I are having to put our family planning on hold due to this. We're scared of what the Supreme Court will do. It could do real damage to an entire generation.
@RapidsCody My prediction is that KH sweeps the blue wall comfortably, loses a Biden state like AZ or GA, but then we see a crazy flip like NC or KS or IA going blue. The women of this country are livid, so any state where an abortion initiative is on the ballot could flip it blue.
@matthewjdowd@matthewjdowd Why is no one talking about the Native American vote and how that might factor in to a battleground state like NV, for example?
