A non-profit run by students for students to provide awareness, education, & resources about air quality regulation & improvement in classrooms across America.
Risk decreased by 74% for students, comparing mechanical ventilation to natural.
Reminder: this pandemic started January 2020 it is now January 2023.

@j_g_allen Step One: Make the schools safe (vaccination and N95 mask requirements, mandated ventilation standards, CO2 monitoring in every classroom, contact tracing, outdoor/distanced lunches, etc.).
Can't keep schools open without that important step!
@j_g_allen 1/3 of students traveled and partied over the holidays (or were exposed at school two weeks ago and are still positive). Going remote will protect the 2/3 of students who are still negative. That is a mitigation strategy.
@JimRosenthal4 Hi! Aranet4 PRO users can share the readings publicly via URL link. Thus giving ability for schools to share the classroom readings with anyone e.g. parents or institutions observing the situation. Please read more: https://t.co/eGixqGS61S
@AranetIoT @JimRosenthal4 And if anyone would like to share their school's CO2 levels anonymously, we will be posting a national database on our website https://t.co/RSpGcNjHRR!
A key tactic of disinformationists is to spread fatalism.
"It's too late / Everyone will get Omicron / We might as well do nothing"
This is completely false. Every decision we make has an impact.
At any point, the faster we can limit transmission, the more lives we will save.
Friend’s cousin went to Kings game: there were three lines to get in: vaccinated, rapid test, proof of negative test. He was vaccinated but figured he’d get a rapid test just to see. Tested positive, got out of that line into the vaccinated line, showed his passport, went in.
More evidence amongst a mountain of evidence that COVID-19 is spread by inhaling aerosols containing SARS-CoV-2. It's about aerosols & inhalation dose, folks. ALWAYS has been. Significantly reduce inhalation dose, significantly reduce infection risk. Just do it! #NotRocketScience
SCHOOLS. It's not too late, not too expensive, not too hard to improve air quality.
Target 4-6 clean air changes per hour thru any combo of ventilation+filtration, in this order:
1. More outdoor air (windows, HVAC...)
2. Better filters (MERV13)
3. Portable air cleaners w/ HEPA
Just got off the phone with a doctor who is the only member of his medical team who isn't currently infected with COVID.
He was also the only one wearing an N-95 instead of a surgical mask.
It pays to mask properly 😷
Parents and teachers advocating for filters in classrooms seem to be getting a lot of the same arguments against them. I made a Rebuttal Matrix for the most common barriers we've heard for those convos with school officials (ft @healthyheating's amazing diagram)

😷 I’ve been invited to join an international campaign to research the potential dangers in shops and indoor venues. In this mega THREAD, I will be using a CO2 meter to measure the Covid-19 risks that we all face #Thailand#COVIDisAirborne#โควิดแพร่ทางอากาศ ##CovidCO2#โควิดco2
