@Ron284Ron What is going on with their uptick in borrowings / higher cost deposits… seems like they’re getting pressured on funding? Result clearly flowing to the margin.. albeit only 2bps.. seems like the borrowings were added late in the quarter
@PadraicMcC The most important part of the modeling test / case study for me has always been the bring down discussion afterwards. If they can leverage AI to build a really clean model quickly and spend more time working on and thinking through the assumptions and what the model is saying….

I think the data largely indicates larger banks are almost always more efficient, with the exception of horrifically managed expense bases
@Schornack@commbankerguy It seems like once you cross the $3-$4B mark you gain enough lending scale where if you’re not searching for these types of efficiencies your expense base gets out of control
