Year 5 and 6 have been running some skills practice sessions for the Year 1 class. 5 and 6 did a fantastic job keeping them all on task and developing their running, catching and tennis skills.

Year 3 enjoyed a 2-night camp earlier this week. It consisted of setting up tents, walks in the bluebells, listening to stories in the amphitheatre and creating stick sculptures 😀⛺️🏕📚

After a morning of SATS, Year 6 chose their afternoon activity. Their choice was to have an extra session with their Year 1 reading buddy. 😃👏📚

Our Year 5 class had a day at Beaudesert this week and took their Maths learning outside. They also did a nature walk and other bushcraft activities 😃

Year 1 had such a great time at Beaudesert for their two outdoor activity days this week. They made t-shirts for the elves out of natural items on the ground, made a fairy door, identified types of funghi, played in the bluebell woods, practised their archery skills and more!

KS1 took part in an Easter egg hunt this morning. They all helped each other find eggs, shared with their friends and made sure everyone in their class had some eggs to enjoy at snack time 😀👏🐣

Year 1 created parachutes out of a range of materials this afternoon. Tomorrow we will see if their parachute can help an egg glide to safety when dropped from a height. 🪂👏🥚

The Year 5 Entrepreneurs made £228 profit from their Mothers Day gift shop. Well done Miss. Hare and all your helpers, this is a fantastic result!
This brings the total raised so far to £500! This will be go towards the Year 5 outdoor learning experience in the Summer term.
