Rebecca was back in action at national finals for the Gold Classic Challenge Championships. She was the top scoring East Midlands gymnast with a nice clean competition.

@QEHSPE @QEHSScott @QEHSChurchill @QEHSBrunel_ @QEHSDarwin @qehs_elgar @QEHSAusten @QueenElizHigh Good call. I hope it's a great day for everyone.

[School Parent @SchoolParent3]

@MrsWill2010 @_MissieBee Oh that's harsh. I know parents always judged anyway, but that does feel very pass/fail for the kids. Thanks for the reply.

[School Parent @SchoolParent3]

@MrsWill2010 @_MissieBee Do schools use the idea of pass / fail with the kids? My youngest is year 9 now but I'm sure in his day they all just got 'a score'.

[School Parent @SchoolParent3]

@QEHSPE @QueenElizHigh It's great to watch her play. I didn't notice any forks though... :-)
Well done Martha.

Rebecca (12A) had the honour of playing Majesty - the bugle call during the lighting of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Beacon in Kirton Lindsey.

@MisterFirth Whether it is what the teacher said word for word or not, it shows the impact that teachers' attitudes have. That old adage of remembering how someone makes you feel over what they actually said. It takes time to reflect and adjust.

[School Parent @SchoolParent3]

@ArtichokesR @BLA042021 @RogersHistory We send them because most of you are great. The payoff is that we have to accept that part of the time they will have to deal with those of you who assume they are all dreadful moppets.

[School Parent @SchoolParent3]

@TLanokia If online is more efficient and we can actually talk to the teachers we want to then that is a massive bonus. I do feel like lots of non verbal cues are missed online.

We really enjoyed the Senior Music Recital this evening. Thanks to the talented students and staff @QEHSMusicDept

[School Parent @SchoolParent3]

@qehs_elgar Well done Elgar for wording this as boys rugby and girls football. Equality of language matters and the students notice. Thank you.
