After working in 4 PRUs, in 4 different LAβs, I have many thoughts on why this headline and report is not helpful.

Do you make time to acknowledge hard work?
Leaders have a responsibility for noticing, identifying and creating opportunities for their staff.
Positive feedback and praise is oxygen for motivation.

Never underestimate the importance of working in a school that has an ethos, vision and values that you believe in.
Honesty and integrity count for so much in education, but at times can be difficult to find.
Be true to yourself and your moral code.
