I've said this many times before, but we can't reasonably expect school psychologists to engage in the full scope of their role when they're often burdened by ineffective practices.
If we want to make a bigger difference, we need to advocate to remove low value practices.

@ReadingShanahan Yes to all this! Plus consider my kid’s attendance was down this year, not because he didn’t have transportation or because he/we don’t value education, but because in the “aftermath” he had freaking COVID and the catch-every-germ aftereffect. But let’s not address that elephant.
