They have decided to entertain Iran among other nations in military exercises in South Africa in January, bringing us closer to potential sanctions and, therefore, further pain. They are intentionally doing this because of so-called 'principles'that they wave around like Palestinian supporters wave their flags, hoodwinking our people ever deeper into their subterfuge. They do not have the right to do this. It is the opposite of governance. It is anti-life, anti-poor, and despicable. 🇺🇸 🇳🇬 I extend sincere gratitude to the United States Department of Defense (War), the President of the United States, and the United States Navy for taking decisive action to address the wanton slaughter of Christians in Nigeria carried out by ISIS affiliates and Boko Haram. This response reflects acknowledgment of concerns I raised months ago in my letter, “Ending the Killings of Christians in Nigeria.”

The recent missile strike sends an urgent message and a strong warning to terrorist networks, while significantly degrading the physical infrastructure that enables their campaign of terror and impunity. Scripture affirms that justice restrains evil: “When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers” (Proverbs 21:15). At the same time, I respectfully urge the U.S. Government and its partners to continue excavating to the root of this crisis—identifying the power players, illicit financial flows, and transnational networks that fuel indoctrination, financial motivation, and the weaponization of banditry.
