To new graduate students: I recommend finding a topic that is important to you and that you feel passionate about. This topic must be one you can research about, which will require hard work and persistence.

3) We must identify specific learning disabilities and have an understanding of how to help these students succeed in the classroom. 4) Teachers must consider environmental factors that affect learning. And lastly, 5) Teachers must use active learning tools to engage students

I feel that there are five main components that should be incorporated in Educational Psychology texts. 1) Primary education is vital to a students cognitive success later in life. 2) Because cognitive processes are so complex, we must identify the aspects critical to memory.

I believe there should be more longitudinal developmental research for self efficacy. Children often are unrealistic about what they can do. It is our job as educators to understand how cognition, emotion, and motivation intertwine to produce successful students
