@greendragonhq Let me ask. You're comparing countries in a world with the security and economic subsidization provided by The USA to the world. What if we take that away?
@AnthonyLozupone It's just a huge opportunity to gamble now. There are pools and fantasy teams. Iran vs Egypt? Seriously? I'm starting to be over everything sports. Go for a bike ride or a hike. Read a book. Go fishing. Whatever.
@educator4ever36@Evilchemteacher What do you suppose secondary consequences would be of an increase of that magnitude? How would that affect employment, inflation, automation? You can't have seriously considered this yet you don't want to hear arguments against? Ok???
@educator4ever36@Ashburn_Dad Estimates are when adjusted for inflation wages are up 15-25% since 1970. Essentially no one earns minimum wage so we could likely abolish it altogether. The average wage is $28 per hour for a full time worker.
@TPCarney I went to public school and we translated the Iliad and the Odyssey in Latin class but it wasn't "assigned" for our English curriculum. Mens sana in corpore sano.
@TheDavidHalley@VinceBoley So let me get this straight. You're mind reading the thoughts of a hypothetical teacher based upon the arrangement of the desks?
