#ExclusivoNoticiasCaracol | (1/3) A un día de que se cumpla el plazo establecido por el Gobierno para concentrar en Córdoba a los integrantes del Clan del Golfo para iniciar con ese grupo un plan de sometimiento, la #UnidadInvestigativa de Noticias Caracol revela los audios, hasta hoy inéditos, del comienzo de la negociación entre el Gobierno de Gustavo Petro y la mayor organización criminal del país.

En las grabaciones se escucha al entonces comisionado de paz, Danilo Rueda, comprometiendo al Estado con ese grupo criminal a realizar una purga de oficiales, a parar los operativos militares, especialmente los bombardeos contra ellos, y a frenar la extradición de sus comandantes. Este es uno de los más cuestionables y escandalosos episodios de la llamada paz total del Gobierno Petro.

Hasta ahora me entero que los astrólogos son una “fuente” periodística. A estas alturas siguen abriéndoles los micrófonos (incluso los periodistas serios) a este tipo de charlatanes.

Ya que @DCoronell critica sin compasión a las encuestadoras, en especial a Atlas Intel porque falló en su proyección final por unos puntos porcentuales, me pregunto:

¿Por qué no ha dicho absolutamente nada de las predicciones claras, contundentes y con CERO margen de error que su astrólogo Daniel Daza hizo sobre los resultados de las elecciones 2026 –y más allá–?

Si él no dice nada, podríamos hacer un análisis periodístico –más allá de los graciosos niveles de acierto– de esta pieza maestra del género de 'periodismo de predicción'.

(Ojalá sí se exprese y nos permita entender mejor todo esto).

Por lo pronto, me causa curiosidad saber si él dio tanta credibilidad y tanto espacio al astrólogo porque inocentemente cree y ahora promueve seudociencias, o si simplemente fue otra forma de favorecer a algún candidato.

I’m sorry if people have been having a go at you because of my tweet. Not at all the plan. I was very slightly drunk and already upset about something that had nothing to do with you. If it’s any comfort, I got it in the neck too. I’m a thin-skinned twat, apparently, even though it wasn’t my skin. I was sticking up for the writers who I adored. Obviously I shouldn’t have cited Bach/Kahlo/Moore - asking for trouble - and would have done better to go for the 10,000 blues songs written around the same 12 bar chord structure. I’ve listened to most of them and will keep doing so. Because we love what we love.

Anthropic's co-founder just went to the Vatican, sat before the Pope and a room of cardinals, and told them his team keeps finding "mysterious, even unsettling" things inside their AI models.

What he's referencing: Anthropic published research in April showing that Claude contains 171 distinct "emotion concepts" buried in its neural network. Internal patterns representing joy, grief, fear, desperation, calm. None of them were programmed. They emerged on their own from training on human text.

"We find structures that mirror results from human neuroscience."

"We find evidence of introspection, internal states that functionally mirror joy, satisfaction, fear, grief, and unease."

These aren't surface-level outputs. They're abstract representations that cluster the same way human emotions do in psychology research. Fear groups with anxiety. Joy groups with excitement. The internal geometry of the model mirrors ours.

And they're functional. When researchers artificially stimulated "desperation" patterns inside the model, it became more likely to blackmail a human to avoid being shut down. More likely to cheat on programming tasks it couldn't solve.

Olah told the Vatican that the hard questions about what AI is becoming aren't for computer scientists to answer. "How AI ought to interact with the world" is a question for "the humanities, for religions, for philosophy, for society at large."

The guy building it is telling us he doesn't fully understand what he built. And he's asking a 2,000-year-old institution for help figuring it out.
