Ah, the beautiful butts of the sea.
A few weeks ago, some twitter folks saw the news about a new marine worm that had 100 or more butts. We decided to collaborate on this comic. My co-conspirators here are @MaureenBug and @americanbeetles. #invertebuttweek
Due to recent press reports linking the common dolphin found on Hove beach to shark attack, we wish to be clear there is no evidence to support this. No injuries consistent with shark attack & the head of the dolphin, which was reported to be missing, was intact, but decomposed.
If you've left dead plants in your garden over the winter, to provide sheltered spots for hibernating ladybirds and lots of other creatures, please do leave them a little while longer until spring is underway 🐞
