@MLBastian What about his eye? A hit like that can do serious injury to retina etc. I hope he'll see an ophthalmologist who knows how to treat traumatic injuries ASAP. His vision could be at risk. And having vision *better* than 20/20 is crucial to good hitting. (I wrote abt this in past.)

@MLBastian But what about his *eye*? Traumatic impacts can detach or otherwise injure the retina etc. I hope that ASAP he'll consult an ophthalmologist who treats trauma. (U of Pittsburgh hospital has a terrific trauma center, as does Rush in Chicago.) His vision could be at risk.
