@ChazzaBot@OnFireAnders That's abuse to you? You're acting like Anders was calling Niko racial slurs. Niko WAS playing bad. Anders is saying he was playing bad. This is because someone called out your favourite player for being bad.
@ChazzaBot@OnFireAnders Uh, yeah. You take a huge paycheck to play a sport, and in return, you open yourself up to criticism. That's literally the deal. You play bad, you get rightfully criticised.
@ChazzaBot@OnFireAnders He's also paid millions of dollars to play a video game. He's an athlete in the public eye. Players in every other sport get put on blast on live broadcast in any other sport. If Niko's playing badly, it's not only Anders' right to point it out, it's literally his job.
@pirketgg@NudnikShpilkess@degsterof Also important to understand that Thorin in an interview is an entirely different person to Thorin on twitter. But of course you wouldn't know that because you've not bothered to find out.
@pirketgg@NudnikShpilkess@degsterof It's because the average CS fan doesn't care about watching interviews. The fact remains is that he's basically the only person who does long-form interviews in the space. Like him or not, he's very important for chronicling the history of esports.
@NudnikShpilkess@pirketgg@degsterof Always makes me laugh when people are like "yeah who would talk to Thorin" and then you go on his youtube channel and he's done 2hr+ interviews with every pro player that's ever existed.
@WilliJohnnyTwo@andrius_xd@MischiefCS2 I think it's a fair narrative, just not one that's often well articulated. Liquid effectively abandoned NA for years to produce a european roster that has been awful. They then come back to NA to take a slot away from an NA team who's stayed invested for their own gain.
@GrahamWignall@Bricktop_NAFO@zatzi So are huskies yet millions of people keep huskies as pets. You don't have to kill animals that are no longer "useful", you know.
