*UNILORIN RELEASES RAIN SEMESTER EXAM & HOSTEL VACATION SCHEDULE*

The University of Ilorin has announced the schedule for the 2025/2026 Rain Semester Examinations and hostel vacation arrangements.

📌 Examinations will commence on Monday, 29th June 2026 and end on Friday, 24th July 2026.

To support students during the examination period:

✅ The University Library will operate 24 hours daily.
✅ Hostel gates will remain open throughout the night.
✅ Security and lighting around hostels and campus areas will be enhanced.

*🏠 HOSTEL VACATION GUIDELINES:*

🔹 Non-final-year students are to vacate their hostels on or before Friday, 31st July 2026.

🔹 Graduating students engaged in projects or research activities may remain in the hostels until Friday, 14th August 2026.

🔹 All university hostels will officially close at 12:00 midnight on Friday, 14th August 2026 to allow for maintenance and renovation ahead of the 2026/2027 academic session.

⚠️ Students are advised not to leave any personal belongings in the hostels after the stipulated deadlines.

📍 Students on SIWES, SWEP, or Teaching Practice who intend to stay on campus from August 1st must register and pay the approved maintenance fee.

📍 College of Health Sciences students on clinical postings will retain their accommodation arrangements.

Stay informed and make the necessary arrangements ahead of the vacation period.
