My op-ed on the Angela Kerins judgment. Looks at what the Supreme Court says about Oireachtas committees, as distinct from the Oireachtas proper, re parliamentary privilege.
Finished Supreme Courts Kerins judgment. It’s very balanced carefully written but I would have concerns about it. The Court is keen to stress, over and over, that the Oireachtas and its prerogatives will be protected and respected and courts will be slow to intervene. (Thread)

Supreme Court has ruled Catherine Nevin's murder conviction can be used as part of an action by Tom Nevin's family to disinherit her estate from benefitting from his. Her lawyers had argued the conviction was not proof of her guilt of his murder.
We need to talk about the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement Implementation) Bill.
Behind the scenes a constitutional outrage is brewing quietly.
